DDD Invoices provides electronic invoicing and real-time reporting solutions that help businesses worldwide streamline their financial processes, reduce costs and comply with local tax regulations.
In this case study, we will discuss our successful partnership with the Montenegro-based company Trebjesa - the biggest brewery in Montenegro under the ownership of Molson Coors, and how we helped them integrate our solutions into their ERP system to meet the country's e-invoicing requirements. We also worked closely with B4B, a SAP partner, to ensure seamless integration with Trebjesa's SAP system.
As a leading brewery and beverage distributor in Montenegro, Trebjesa faced a major challenge in meeting the country's new e-invoicing regulations. The Montenegrian government introduced a new law on 1 January 2020, requiring all businesses to issue e-invoices and real-time reports to the tax authority by 1 June 2021.
Trebjesa was struggling to adapt to the new regulations, as their existing ERP system did not support e-invoicing and real-time reporting for the Montenegrian market. This meant that they could have serious non-compliance issues with the Ministarstvo Finansija or Montenegrian Tax Authority.
Trebjesa realized that they required a solution that would allow them to generate e-invoices and real-time reports automatically and integrate seamlessly with their SAP system.
To allow sufficient time for the SAP partner to complete the integration, which is an organizationally demanding project, we temporarily implemented our "virtual printer solution." This involved extracting data from the data stream and transmitting it to the virtual printer. The interim solution sufficiently fulfilled the required basic legal requirements throughout the integration project.
Working closely with the DDD Invoices team and the Czech company DXC, the SAP Process Orchestrator in this project, Croatian SAP partner B4B integrated our APIs into Trebjesa’s SAP system. That enabled Trebjesa to issue e-invoices and real-time reports in compliance with Montenegro's regulations. The integration process was successful thanks to the close collaboration between DDD Invoices, B4B and Trebjesa.
The integration also provided Trebjesa with detailed analytics and insights into their invoicing and reporting activities. We provided web application training and support to Trebjesa's finance team and ensured that the solution was fully tested and validated before going live.
As a result of our partnership, Trebjesa was able to achieve compliance with Montenegro's e-invoicing regulations, streamline its financial processes, and reduce the risk of errors and non-compliance. Not only that, but due to the utilization of the virtual printer, they gained an additional year to find a SAP integration partner (B4B) and SAP orchestrator (DXC).
At DDD Invoices, we are committed to providing innovative and effective solutions to our customers and are proud to have helped Trebjesa achieve compliance and optimize their financial processes. We look forward to continuing to partner with businesses around the world to help them overcome their financial challenges and achieve their goals.
